Airport Fire Service charity fun day

by isleofman.com 19th May 2017

One of the Isle of Man’s most popular community events takes place next Sunday (28 May 2017).

The Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting Service’s annual charity fun day will feature a host of entertainment, including rides in a fire appliance, bouncy castles, water games, stalls, refreshments and a raffle.

There will also be an opportunity to meet Scorch, the robot fireman, while demonstrations and displays will be staged to provide an insight into the work of the Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting Service.

The event, which is supported by Lloyds Bank International, takes place between 1pm and 5pm.

Proceeds from the family day will be donated to the Firefighters Charity, Age Concern Isle of Man and the Manx Diabetic Group.
