8 year old Izzy Huyton from Ramsey was the proud winner of this year’s Easter Treasure Hunt at Milntown, the stately home in the North of the Isle of Man.  The event, which ran throughout the Easter holidays saw over 350 children searching for pictures of Easter eggs around the 15 acres of grounds.

Izzy attends Bunscoill Rhumsaa and is a regular visitor to Milntown with her brother Connor and sister Faye.

Izzy’s winning entry was recently selected from all the children that participated in the event, her star prize was a Gift Voucher for JAC Stores in Ramsey.

The Milntown Easter Treasure Hunt is one of an extensive range of events hosted by Milntown throughout the year. The next treasure hunt to take place at Milntown will run during the summer holidays. Milntown’s vintage cars and some of their vintage motorbikes will be on display during TT Practice Week.

TT opening times at Milntown: The Milntown Estate will close at 4.30pm (last admission to the gardens and orders in the cafe 3.30pm) during TT Practice Week (27th May – 2nd June ). The Milntown Estate will be closed during all of TT Race Week (3rd June - 9th June). There will be no public tours on the 3rd, 7th & 10th June. Milntown will re-open on Saturday 10th June unless racing on the Friday has been postponed. Check their website or Facebook for confirmation.
