New Main Bus Stop for Port Erin

by isleofman.com 8th June 2017

Following the completion of the Port Erin regeneration works in Station Road bus vannin announces the main stop at Port Erin will move from Bridson Street to Station Road.

With effect from Monday 12th June 2017 – from and including the service 2 which departs at 10:04 - ALL buses departing and arriving Port Erin will go to/from the new Port Erin Station stop and not from Bridson Street.

The route will then continue along Station Road and onto Bay View Road.

Due to customer feedback and to complement the service bus vannin will also add an additional bus stop along Bay View Road, on the corner of Nelson Street.

Ian Longworth, Director of Transport Services, said: ‘We believe these small changes will make the customer’s journey that little bit smoother. With up to six buses per hour serving Port Erin our passengers will benefit from being just a stone’s throw from all that Port Erin has to offer.’

With the relocation to the new bus stop, buses on all services will depart from Port Erin one minute earlier than the times shown in published timetables.
