Dr Allinson, member for Ramsey, asked in the House of Keys yesterday how many Manx pensioners are currently living overseas; and how many of them have had their pension frozen.

The Treasury Minister, Alf Cannan, confirmed that the Treasury makes retirement pension payments to 723 people who are recorded on
their system as living overseas (excluding the UK); of these, 512 presently have their rate of pension ‘frozen’.
