Appeal for information following burglary

Police are renewing an appeal for witnesses following the report of a Burglary at The Spar, Main Road, Union Mills.

Between 9.20pm on Sunday 4th June 2017 and 6.30am on Monday 5th June 2017, a burglary took place at the Spar Shop, Main Road, Union Mills.

Detective Constable Louise Kennaugh from the Criminal Investigation Department said: ”We are seeking information from any person who may have seen or heard anything of note around the area of the Spar Shop around these times.  We are also looking for an outstanding item of property that was taken from the store.  It is described as a silver/grey portable safe with a key code on the front similar to those bought for home security purposes.  If anyone sees such an item discarded or is aware of any person having access to such please contact Police’.
