Emergency Services attend road traffic collision on King Edward Road

This morning, Wednesday 26th July, shortly before 9am, fire crews from Douglas and Laxey stations were mobilised to a report of a single vehicle Road Traffic Collision at King Edward Road, Onchan.

On arrival it was found that the vehicle had rolled and landed back on its wheels across the Manx Electric Railway lines.

The male occupant had been able to get himself out of the vehicle and was treated on scene by Paramedics for minor injuries. Fire crews made the vehicle safe and power to the railway was isolated so that it could be recovered. 

Crews remained in attendance for 30 minutes.
