Conor Cummins rides TT course with Manx MSA Trust auction winners

by isleofman.com 27th July 2017
Luke Turner & Lisa Horsfall, who won their bid for a ride around the TT course with Conor Cummins at the MSA Summer Ball, got their prize yesterday (24th JUly 2017) when the TT Ace & and now famous Barista (www.coffee-mann.com) took control of one of the IOM Trike Tours trikes and enjoyed a ride around the course on a beautiful summer's day at a little more sedate pace than Connor would normally do.

Lisa successfully bid for the amazing prize for her nephew, Luke at the Manx MSA’s Summer Ball, with all the funds raised going towards the charities fund raising efforts, which support its main aims of funding research into the condition (Multiple System Atrophy), increasing awareness and providing a hub for Manx patients and their families. Luke, a keen motorbike fan himself, travelled from the UK to enjoy the unique opportunity to ride the TT course, with the TT star as his guide.

Niall Carey, Head of Communications for the charity, commented, “Thanks to Conor, who is also supported by Pokerstars for taking the time to do the tour and support us. Thanks too to IOM Trike Tours for lending us one of their amazing machines and to Lisa for her auction bid. We are delighted that the event was so successful and of course that Luke & Lisa will have some amazing memories of their experience”.
