ManxSPCA Christmas Campaign

by isleofman.com 21st November 2017

This festive season you can help support the ManxSPCA and the Island’s rescued animals in so many different ways and help make 2017 the 120th year to remember.

You can buy your ManxSPCA Christmas cards from Ard Jerkyll, from our charity shops in Douglas and Ramsey, or from Milan vets in Douglas and Castletown. We have three fantastic designs this year by two different local artists. They are ?3 per pack or two packs for ?5.

But if you are fed up writing cards then why not make a Christmas donation to us instead by texting SNOWY to 70660* or through our website, Facebook page or by sending a cheque made payable to the ManxSPCA to Christmas Appeal, Ard Jerkyll, East Foxdale, IM4 3HL.

We also have a Christmas Campaign running through Just Giving this year featuring JT a black and white border collie currently with us and up for adoption. To find the campaign search ‘I woof you a Merry Christmas and I need a home in the New Year’.

Do you buy your gifts through Amazon? If you do then please use the Amazon link on our website’s homepage and Amazon will donate a percentage of the purchase price without it costing you a penny. And while you’re on Amazon if you want to buy one of our animals a Christmas present then you can choose a gift from our Amazon wish list.

And if you want a bit of fun to work off those Christmas calories then run or walk the Santa Dash for us on Wednesday 13th December and aim to win a charity ‘spot’ prize. Juana Warburton General Manager, Kerry Gascoyne Fundraising Manager and Jacqueline Street Chairman will all be taking part along with three ex rescue dogs; Windsor, Jake and Lola.  You can register to take part in the event at www.iombank.com.

*terms and conditions apply and can be found on www.manxspca.com. Texts are charged at your standard network rate and the text donate service is an automatic ?10 donation unless you states otherwise.
