Visit IOM launches ?1 Low Deposit Scheme

by isleofman.com 22nd November 2017
Isle of Man travel specialists Visit IOM have broken new ground with the launch of a ?1 low deposit scheme for package holidays to the Isle of Man. The promotion which runs until 31st December is designed to stimulate early bookings to the Isle of Man for 2018, encouraging tourism to the island with an affordable deposit arrangement.

Families and couples with a stretched budget on the run up to Christmas can book and secure their 2018 holiday to the Isle of Man with a ?1 deposit per person and pay the remaining balance as little as 4 weeks prior to their departure.  This cost-effective scheme is better than most major online travel agencies in the industry who demand higher deposits and earlier balance payments.

“The ?1 low deposit is the first of its kind for the Isle of Man, making holidays to the island more affordable for visitors who can spread the cost of their holiday over a longer period of time” comments Darrel Tinnion, Visit IOM’s Business Development Manager. “We feel sure that this initiative will prove a popular choice and help towards the Isle of Man government’s goal of 20% growth in tourism by 2020”.

The low deposit arrangement is designed to attract more of the island’s target market, namely families, active couples and over 50s and is available for inbound travellers when booking a flight or ferry with accommodation as part of their holiday package.  Visitors are reassured that their booking is also fully protected by ABTA and ATOL too.
