Appeal after garden wall damaged

by isleofman.com 1st December 2017
Officers are keen to trace any person with information relating to the damage of a brick built garden wall at the junction of Vicarage Road and Meadow Crescent in Douglas.

It would appear that a vehicle has collided with the wall at some point over the weekend, leaving the scene without informing the Police, or the owner of the wall. The damage will have to be rectified at a significant cost to the owner. Officers believe that the vehicle involved will have significant visible impact damage and are keen to trace the driver of a medium sized blue panel van that was seen in the area at the time the incident is suspected to have occurred.

Constable 124 Edwards, who is investigating the matter, urges anyone with information to contact Police Headquarters.
