Moore Stephens announces successful IOM Art Society’s “Seasonal Autumn Exhibition and Craft Fair”

by isleofman.com 1st December 2017

Moore Stephens Isle of Man proudly sponsored this year’s Isle of Man Art Society “Seasonal Autumn Exhibition and Craft Fair” and with more sales than last year, it was once again a huge success!

Moore Stephens and the Art Society also congratulate raffle winner Jill Gill who was lucky enough to take home the magnificent pastel painting of the Amur Leopard by Diane Moore.

Andrew Dixon, partner in Moore Stephens Isle of Man, formally opened the 2017 exhibition at the Onchan Village Walk Precinct at the preview evening on 21st November. The exhibition of 300 pieces of artwork by local artists as well as craft stalls and workshops, opened to the public the following day through to Sunday, 24th November.

“As always, it’s an honour to support the Isle of Man Art Society - we’re delighted to have been a part of it and it was a particularly special privilege to have opened the event,” said Andrew. “The standard of artwork displayed was, as always, excellent. Events like this and the Easter exhibition give local artists space to showcase their work”.

Moore Stephens’ dedication and appreciation of local artwork is supported throughout their Douglas offices on Athol Street where there is a diverse range of artwork on display.

“The Isle of Man Art Society is very grateful for the hard work and enthusiasm that Moore Stephens put into the Autumn Exhibition,” said David Sayle, Isle of Man Art Society Chairman. “It is a huge encouragement to the Island’s artistic community and we’ve already started planning the Easter event.”

The Isle of Man Art Society - https://isleofmanartsociety.com/ - continually encourages artists and those interested in art to join the society.
