Full steam ahead for Christmas!

by isleofman.com 7th December 2017
On Saturday 2nd of December, Strand Street was the coolest place on the Isle of Man. Wi-Manx, leading Island technology provider, sponsored this year’s ice sculpture which was named ‘Wi-Manx Express’.

Internationally renowned local artists Stephanie Quayle and Darren Jackson created the spectacular ice carving based on a traditional steam train with seasonal decorations. The event, organised by Douglas Town Centre Management was a great success providing Christmas shoppers with the perfect photo opportunity.
