At 4pm on Thursday 7th December, a road traffic collision occurred at Ballakeighan Corner, Castletown where a blue Subaru travelling towards Castletown collided with a static Toyota Hilux which was waiting to turn right at the junction onto Castletown Road.

Police would like to speak to any possible witnesses – in particular,  the driver of a white van which was in front of the Toyota which had just turned onto Castletown Road as the collision occurred.  Also a female driver who was driving a vehicle behind the Toyota.
