Fire Services attend crash on Creg ny Baa back road

At 22.24hrs yesterday, Wednesday 26th December, both Douglas and Laxey Stations responded to reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision on the Creg Ny Baa back road, near Glen Roy.

On arrival officers discovered a single vehicle on its side with the single occupant trapped due to its position.

Crews stabilised the vehicle and used specialist equipment to gain access and allow colleagues from the Isle of Man Ambulance Service to assess the occupant before assisting them from the vehicle for further precautionary checks.

Crews returned to station at 23.45hrs.
