Nedgroup's thoughtful donation to homeless charities

by isleofman.com 3rd January 2018
The proceeds from the sale of office furniture at a Douglas investment company have been donated to two of the Island’s homeless charities, Housing Matters and Graih.

The money has been donated by Nedgroup Investments, following a move to new premises.

Helen Christian, who organised the sale of the furniture, said fellow staff members were delighted that the proceeds were going to the two charities which provide for the homeless, particularly at this time of the year.

Andrew Lodge for Nedgroup Investments said, “We have often seen companies fill skips with their old office furniture, which is such a waste.

“We wanted to do something more productive, so we arranged for the sale and our staff were really pleased that we were then able to make the donation to Housing Matters and Graih.”
