At the ManxSPCA we rely purely on donations to rescue and rehome animals because we receive no government funding. We are often asked about different ways people can donate and so, from this year, we are giving you the chance to sponsor a pen in either our Kennels, Cattery or Small Animals Unit.

Every year we take in over 1600 animals - they have either been lost or abandoned, escaped cruelty or neglectful conditions; or their owners have moved away or died, or they can simply no longer afford to keep them.

We provide the animals with love and care in a safe environment until they find their new ‘forever’ homes. We also make sure that all our animals receive regular veterinary checks and that any medical conditions are attended to.

The pen sponsorship scheme requires an annual subscription of ?100 -  that works out at less than ?9 a month! This money will ensure that an animal is safe and warm in a pen that they can call home with food, bedding, toys and treats. In return a sponsor will receive:

• the choice of which area you would like to support
• a name plaque on the pen to recognise you or your organisation
• a personalised certificate
• our quarterly newsletter.

And, of course, you can come and visit Ard Jerkyll and see the animals who are benefitting from your sponsorship.
