Isle of Man Darts Organisation's fourth ranking event of the year comes to Bar Logo in Ramsey this weekend (Saturday 13 January 2018).
Willie "Van Der Peel" Biggane current sits top of the men's rankings closely followed by Kevin Lane who looks set to loose his top two spot this weekend as he travels to the big island to follow his professional darts dreams. Kevin "the train" Lane is a member of the PDPA and is prepping for his 4th Q School in Wigan, looking to win a card onto the Pro-tour. His absence leaves the field wide open for big names Ian Fields, Wayne Harrison, Paul Kelly and Robbie Nelson to gain points and widen the gap. Robbie "the mighty boosh" Corrin is worth watching after a brilliant performance in a local event recently and although down in joint 12th could be poised to explode through the remaining events. Positions are close throughout the ranking table with no clear leaders and at this point it could be anyone representing the island in national and international competitions. Over at the ladies events it's a different picture with Sarah Taylor and Wendy Andrews looking uncatchable, however Nikki Bardsley's form looked excellent at a recent Christmas competition at the Rosie and with some good results she could still finish top two. Last year's winner Rachel Robertson who missed out due to injury has yet to find her form this season but looked untouchable last year and provides a real risk to the ladies vying for top spot.
This weekends' ranking is open to anyone and registrations will be taken from 7.30pm for an 8pm start, if you would like more information contact
