A woman on the Isle of Man is hoping to sell her ?800,000 house using raffle tickets.
55-year-old Anne Lumley wants to move back to the UK after living in the property for 25 years.
As part of efforts to drum up interest, and bypass estate agents, she’s selling tickets for ?20 each.
Her story has made the UK national press – with both the Liverpool Echo and The Daily Mail picking up the story.
The four-bedroom property, which is one mile from the TT Course, is set in 10 acres of countryside – it also has stables and boarding kennels.
Speaking to The Liverpool Echo Anne said: "Most people have been really positive and saying they think it’s a good idea. Because the market is pretty rubbish at the moment it’s doing something different."
The successful ticket holder could live in the property mortgage free or sell it for the proceeds.
