Sea wall in Ramsey to be rebuilt after Storm Emma

?180,000 will be spent fixing the sea wall and promenade walkway in Ramsey.


A section of the wall – and part of the Mooragh Promenade footway – collapsed during the bad weather which hit the Island on Friday.


The Department of Infrastructure says replacing a 90-metre section of sea wall – and increasing its height – will give additional protection against climate change.
