Some sporting facilities at the NSC will remain closed today after a fire at the sporting hub last night.

The Spa Suite and Fitness Zone are out of action following the blaze which broke out in a locker room.

The swimming pools are open as normal.

Staff say they hope the sports halls, squash courts and bowls hall will re-open at 12pm.

No-one was hurt during the incident which happened just after 5.30pm. 

Customers are being thanked for their patience and understanding.
