Improvement works as part of Year of Our Island

by isleofman.com 13th March 2018

Improvement works are being carried out near to the River Neb.

It's part of a project on the former steam railway line between Peel and Douglas.

The 10-day scheme, which began last week, focusses on the path between Peel Power Station and the weir near Glenfaba Bridge.

It's part of the government’s focus to improve footpaths and glens as part of the Year of Our Island by accommodating more pedestrians, cyclists, horse riders and people with limited mobility.
