Iconic police station goes on the market

An iconic Isle of Man police station is going under the hammer.

The former Castletown Police Station, on The Quay in Castletown, is officially on the market.

The single storey building, which is registered, has a price tag of ?250,000 plus VAT.

Built at the end of the 19th century the period property was designed by noted architect Mackay Hugh Baillie Scott.

It features three original limestone cells – anyone interested in submitting an offer for the property has until Friday, April 27th.
