Wear odd socks with pride for WDSD

by isleofman.com 20th March 2018

People on the Isle of Man are being urged to wear odd socks tomorrow.

Wednesday is World Down Syndrome Awareness Day.

It falls each year on the 21st of March – the date represents the three copies of chromosome 21 which people with the syndrome have.

To raise awareness the Down Syndrome Awareness IOM Group is urging people to wear their "best, brightest and downright awful socks" with pride.

Those who take part are also asked to upload pictures to the group’s Facebook page which you can find HERE.
