Support for campsite operators available

by isleofman.com 20th March 2018

Campsite operators on the Isle of Man are being urged to ensure they offer visitors a 'safe and enjoyable experience'.

The Department for Enterprise has organised a new Campsite Information Presentation in conjunction with the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service and Environmental Health.

It will deliver advice for all operators on the Island – looking at fire safety requirements, health and safety and how to improve quality and service.

Tourism Member, and MHK, Rob Callister says: "We would also like to encourage anyone thinking of operating a campsite (whether it’s a commercial venture or a field they own) to attend so we can help them with the registration process and ensure all necessary approvals are in place."

The presentation will take place at the Keyll Darree Lecture Theatre on April 26th at 5.30pm.

It’s free to attend – you can register here
