New school crossing point in Onchan

by isleofman.com 21st March 2018

A new school crossing point has been installed in Onchan.

Warning lights have been placed on Main Road to advise of the hidden crossing and to act as an active road safety feature during school arrival and departure times.

Onchan Commissioners say there have been a number of incidents in the last 12 months of motorists not stopping whilst crossings are in use by children.

They say they hope motorists will now proceed with caution.
