Relocating department boosted wellbeing says Chief

by isleofman.com 21st March 2018

Government’s headquarters in St Johns is 75 per cent more energy efficient than a standard office building.

That’s the message from the Island's Chief Minister who says relocating the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture in 2010 has also improved staff wellbeing and productivity.

Howard Quayle was quizzed about whether moving the department was a success in the House of Keys yesterday.

DEFA are now joined in the Thie Slieau Whallin building by the Office of Fair Trading and the Road Transport Licensing Committee which relocated in 2016.
