Students are being urged to gain business experience by applying for the 2018 STEP Programme.
Run by the Department of Enterprise it offers undergraduates work experience with small and medium sized businesses on the Island during the summer.
Students undertake specific projects before showcasing their findings at the end of the eight-week period.
MHK Lawrie Hooper has responsibility for Enterprise Support – he says: "Feedback from students and hosts in the past has been very positive.
"The STEP Programme supports the Isle of Man’s Programme for Government’s policy to ensure that young people on the Island have the skills and knowledge to be ready to enter the workplace.
"The Programme continues to be a fantastic opportunity for students to undertake a paid for summer job within a local organisation while gaining real life office experience in preparation for their job search post-graduation."
Participants receive a training allowance of ?240 a week – last year 45 people took part.
The closing date for applications is March 27th – you can find more information HERE.
