by isleofman.com 23rd March 2018

The Isle of Man Post Office is launching a new set of stamps to mark Prince Harry's engagement to US actress Meghan Markle.

Two sets featuring the happy couple on the day they announced they were set to wed have been produced.

Prince Harry proposed at his home, at Nottingham Cottage, in November 2017 – the wedding will take place in May.

Maxine Cannon is the general manager of Isle of Man Stamps and Coins: "We are very happy for the couple, and along with the rest of the nation, are looking forward to their wedding celebration which is expected to be a spectacular affair and one of the most anticipated events of the year."

The collection will be released on March 28th – it includes stamp sheet sets, First Day Cover, Presentation Pack and a Special Sheetlet.
