Police are hunting a thief who stole signage – in a somewhat iconic crime.

At some point between Saturday and Sunday a business sign for 'Simply Secure' was stolen from Mount Havelock in Douglas.

It had been located above the doorway of the property – officers say it was 'out of easy reach'.

Anyone who has information is asked to contact Police Headquarters or Crimestoppers.
