Sofa dumped at local beauty spot

by isleofman.com 3rd April 2018

Police are appealing for witnesses after fly-tipping spoilt a local beauty spot.

Officers say someone has dumped, and set on fire, a sofa in the picnic area of Glen Rushen Road.

They’ve described it as an “"unnecessary act" which has ruined an area where many people walk their dogs.

According to a post on Facebook police have the registration of the vehicle used to tip the sofa – they’re urging the person to contact Peel Police Station.
