Boy flown to Alder Hey after crash at airfield

A 14-year-old boy is in hospital in the UK after being hit by a car on Andreas Airfield.

Police were called to the site at around 4.40pm on Friday, March 30th.

The child had sustained serious injuries and was flown to Alder Hey Children's Hospital – officers say his condition remains serious.

Investigations are ongoing – the driver of the vehicle has been interviewed.

Police say no further details will be released at this time.
