Prescription charges on the Isle of Man could rise from ?3.85 to ?5.
Charges for a routine dental visit could also hike from ?18.50 to ?20.60.
Residents would also lose the right to have a free eye-test each year.
They're just some of the changes being put forward by the Department of Health and Social Care as part of a new scheme.
The NHCS (General) Scheme 2018 will be presented to Tynwald this month – it's part of efforts to define the scope of the National Health and Care Service.
It will be accompanied by the first NHCS Charter setting out the department’s commitment to provide health and care services and defining the rights and responsibilities of the public.
Over 300 people had their say on the proposed scheme and charter during a public consultation in 2017.
If the scheme is approved people who pre-pay for prescriptions will see the charge rise from ?19 to ?20 for four months and from ?54 to ?60 for 12 months.
The department says a number of exemptions for medical treatment which it previously considered removing will remain in place.
