Stallholders at this year's Tynwald Day will have to use eco-friendly containers, cups and glasses.

It's part of government's efforts to reduce single use plastic.

Charities and traders who wish to be part of the celebrations can apply for one of the 138 pitches now.

Those that took part last year will automatically receive an application form – new stallholders can request a form by e-mailing ESS.DOI@gov.im.

Forms must be returned by April 27^th – places will be allocated by May 14^th.
