by isleofman.com 20th April 2018

Firefighters were called into action yesterday after a LPG cylinder caught fire in Braddan.

The 10kg cylinder, which is used by Manx Utilities to fuel a gas burner, had developed a fault.

Crews allowed the cylinder to burn out and then used a hose reel to cool it and safely dispose of it.
