Ramsey Coastguard was called into action on Sunday to help rescue a sheep.

A member of the public had spotted the animal stranded on cliffs near to the area of Dogmills.

A cliff technician was set up in a harness to go over the edge and review the scene.

However the sheep was able to make its own way to the beach and was later retrieved by a sheepdog instead.
