GP's tasked with getting 20 per cent online uptake

by isleofman.com 26th April 2018

More than 20 per cent of eligible people have signed up to a new online system allowing access to GP services.

GP Patient Access allows people to view their health information online, book and amend appointments and view and order prescriptions.

Each GP practice on the Island is now required to ensure that 20 per cent of their practice is registered for the service by the end of September.

Annemarie Cubbon is the Head of Primary Care Commissioned Services – she says: "It's extremely pleasing to see GP Patient Access break through this important milestone.

"More and more people are realising just how simple the App is to use and how much easier it makes managing so many important parts of their healthcare."
