Coastguard tackles oil pollution in Peel

by isleofman.com 4th May 2018

Peel Coastguard says it has taken steps to catch oil in Peel Harbour.

It follows concerns of oil pollution in the area – small amounts of sheen were seen along the wall and near the bridge.

Two absorbent booms have been placed in the water to try and help.

They’re asking anyone who sees pollution in coastal areas or rivers to call the Coastguard.
