Police are appealing for help after a road safety sign and battery was stolen in Jurby.

It happened on Thursday, June 21st at the junction of Jurby Coast Road and The Bretney Road.

A 12-volt battery, which powered a light attached to the sign, was also taken.

Officers say the sign, highlighting a cycle event, alerted motorists to large numbers of cyclists on the roads and could put road users at risk.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Ramsey Police Station.
