Flying to the Isle of Man

 

Located at the heart of the British Isles, the Island is within easy reach of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. 

Flights operate to the island from many of the regional airports in the British Isles, or if you prefer to travel by boat then you can choose from ports in the Northwest of England (or Ireland).

 

The Island's airport, Ronaldsway, is located near Castletown, 6.9 miles to the south of the captial, Douglas

The airport is equipped to international standards for navigational/electronic aids and passenger facilities.

Business, holiday, Royal Mail, Datapost and newspaper charter flights complete a busy air transport environment, supplemented by frequent air taxi and private executive movements.

Flybe

Flybe fly from Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester to the Isle of Man.  For reservations call 01392 268529 or 0371 7002000.

 

Loganair

Loganair flies from Edinburgh to the Isle of Man.  For reservations call 0344 800 2855.

 

 

Onward international flight connections can be accessed from most of the above destinations. There are also some direct flights, mainly in peak holiday times, to places such as Faro, Madeira and Cyprus.

A recently completed hangar for private planes sits within Ronaldsway Airport's grounds, and a separate terminal is in use.
